These tea cakes are from the Bingdao region (ice island) known for producing tea with natural sweetness. Of course, it isn't actually an ice island
Brewing Guide: This is just a general guide you can use but feel free to experiment.
Traditional (Gongfu) Method
Water Temperature: 95−100∘𝐶 (203−212∘𝐹)
Ratio: 1 mini tea cake
Rinse: Perform a quick rinse with hot water for about 10−20 seconds to wash the leaves and help them unfurl. Discard this first rinse water.
Western Method
Water Temperature: 90−100∘𝐶 ( 194−212∘F)
Vessel: A larger teapot or mug, around 400−500 ml for one ball.
