I wanted to design a new floral gaiwan since it's a common theme with rea life gaiwans we use for tea. I usually create flowers without a true flower in mind necessarily but something with a center and different petals. As I was considering orchids and looking at the variety in their coloring ads patterns, I knew they would be a great choice. It also works out well that orchids are often a symbol for love and on a tea brewing vessel, it seemed to fit well.
This pin is 1.25 in, gold plated hard enamel with 2 pin posts on the back. This pin will come packaged with a Tea Thoughts backing card.
